What is it that makes people keep coming back to
Murphy's, making it one of the most popular pub-restaurants in Manila?
Basically it's our mix of great food and drinks amidst a friendly Irish
atmosphere with good service and reasonable prices. We're open from 11am
until at least 1am (or later for special events or if we have a big
crowd enjoying themselves).
Always on hand to make your visit an enjoyable are your host Brian
Inglis and his staff. That's Brian on the right with day shift
supervisor Marivic, accountant Daisy, kitchen supervisor May, office
administration supervisor Amy, and night shift supervisor Marj,
plus the ever-cheerful bar and restaurant staff.
Plus, there are our special ingredients - happy hour discounted prices
for that beer on the way home after work; live sports on TV; on
entertainment nights; our pub quiz nights; and special parties for
special events like St Patrick's Day, New Year's Eve, Thanksgiving Day,
and more.
Happy Hour(s)
Every work-day evening (Mondays through Fridays) you can drop by
Murphy's pub on the way home from work and enjoy "Happy Hour" prices
catching up with friends while the traffic dies down. For just 300 pesos
you can drink all the local beer you want between 6pm and 8pm.
Live sports on big-screen TV
Sports fans like our coverage of most of the big games and many
of the small matches on big screen TV - live when possible. Whether its
rugby, soccer, Aussie Rules, American football, golf, tennis, boxing,
Formula One Grand Prix, horse racing or most any other sport, we can probably find the
game on the sports channels we offer.
With separate big screens in each of our three bar/restaurant areas, we
can offer watching sports fans a choice of games in either smoking or
non-smoking rooms. If the game runs outside our normal business
hours, we'll stay late or open early.
Entertainment
Several times a week Murphy's has live bands on
stage in one of our lounges, especially at weekends. We'll publish of
the shows here as soon as they're available - or if it's more convenient

Pub quiz nights
Tuesday evenings are quiz nights at Murphy's Makati. Bring your friends
or set up a regular group and test your general knowledge against the
keenest quiz fans in Metro Manila.
